It was the first time at this restaurant and we a very happy that we picked this place. The food was amazing, service was amazing . We has a group of people in the restaurant that was very loud so it was not the restaurants fault by all means. Other than that the Atmosphere was great.

The mac and cheese is amazing... that's how good this place is! That even the random kids dish is crazy good. Then you have the main dishes of lomo saltado, pato, empanadas... you can't go wrong with anything. Then our server Natividad was an absolute pleasure. Would recommend this place anyday.

We had a wonderful dinner there. I had skirt steak and pesto pasta. My husband had duck leg. The meals had balanced tastes and cooked to perfection. There is a 3% extra charge for credit card payment.

For a change of pace, we decided to go Peruvian for dinner tonight in Taos, NM. So glad we did... Aji rocked the house! Great meal from start to finish! Navitidad was our waitress, she was awesome! Attentive but not intrusive! Navitidad, thanks for your wonderful service! We started the evening with a couple of Peruvian cocktails... a Pisco Sour and a Maracuya Sour. Both were delicious, hat tip to the Maracuya Sour for its passion fruit flair! For the appetizer, we opted for the beef heart, “Antichucos.” My oh my, delish! The beef heart, marinated, served on skewers with thinly sliced potatoes, hominy, and a killer chimichurri sauce on top! So good, we could have ordered five more servings and been happy... but, we didn’t! And for good reason... For our entrees we selected the Pato (duck leg) and the Seafood Pasta. Both were outstanding! The duck leg was served atop fabulous creamed sweet potatoes and yucca strips... the dish was incredible! Likewise, the seafood pasta was over the top great. Served with “Aji Sauce” very flavorful and with a surprise kick of heat (hot pepper) on the end. Plenty of baby scallops and shrimp, with mushrooms and peas, OMG good! The pasta was freshly made and served a perfect al dente.... We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of Albarino El Terrano from Spain, which was perfect for the duck and pasta! We were stuffed, so we passed on dessert this time around. The restaurant space is comfortable and cool! It was packed by 7:30pm when we left! Art for sale on the walls, pottery, sculptures, etc. Even the bathroom space was beautifully tiled! Bossa nova pop hits from the overhead speakers was awesome! (It’s what we listen to at home!). What a meal... highly recommend Aji for a “change of pace” meal in Taos, NM.

I got the steak with mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. One of the best meals out I’ve had. All elements of the meal were cooked to perfection and absolutely divine! The potatoes were creamy and cheesy. The mac reminded me of how my mom always made it growing up. The steak was well flavored and cooked to my preference. Very tender and delicious! The price here is higher than a lot of other places in the area but the quality is worth it. I would 100% go again any and every time I’m in Taos. Fantastic date spot for couples visiting town.

Great food ceviche was delicious and pictured about. The paella and duck were also fantastic though I was too busy to eat to take pictures. Dinning room was very intimate like you were a guest in a home.

Had dinner at Aji while visiting Taos and had a great meal. We made reservations for 6pm and were one of two tables when we arrived, so had most of the place to ourselves. Our server was no nonsense and seemed to be rushing around. Our meals came out exceptionally hot and everything was very good! The appetizer empanadas with huancaina sauce were some of the best I've ever had... we could have ordered three plates of them. The paella I ordered was delicious as well. Great flavors, hot, good variety of seafood. The skirt steak with pesto linguine was also good, but I'd say the paella and empanadas were the stars. I'd definitely recommend a stop here when in Taos for dinner.
